New Release - D28.1, NEMA 11 Size UHV Stepper Motor

We are excited to announce the release of the D28.1 - AML's new addition to the D-series UHV compatible stepper motors.

NEMA 11 frame size
55 mNm
Suitable for use below 1 x 10-10 mbar
Bakeable to 200 °C
Operating temperature range -65 °C to +190 °C
Embedded thermocouple as standard

 

The D28.1 uses the NEMA 11 frame size (28 x 28 x 36 mm) and has a torque rating of 55 mNm. This compact design makes it ideal for applications where space is limited and the torque required is low. The dimensional drawing of the D28.1 is now available on the D-series UHV stepper motor datasheet.

The following performance data was obtained using an AML SMD3 stepper motor drive with a 67 V source voltage.

 

         

 

The D28.1 can be customised with all the standard options available across the entire D-series range. This includes options for cryogenic environments, radiation environments, the inclusion of a PT100 sensor, and custom shaft modifications. AML offers all necessary accessories for using UHV stepper motors including in-vacuum connectors, feedthroughs, airside cabling, and stepper motor drives.
